🏔️ End of the Year Retreat 🏔️
Wrap up Your Year with Reflection, Relaxation, and Set Yourself Up for an Amazing 2025.
Join us on the December 6-8th, 2024: we invite you to a unique 3-day experience in a kind and caring small community, nestled in the pristine Alpine environment of Valais, Switzerland 🇨🇭.
This year-end, gift yourself the ultimate self-care experience. Through daily yoga practice and outdoor activities like hiking or snowshoeing, you will strengthen your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with nature. Meditation will quiet the constant noise of everyday life, while nature connection practices will ground and relax you, nurturing meals will remind the power of eating well, creating a clear space for the new year.
Retreat Location
Nestled in the Val d’Hérens valley, rich in heritage and culture, you'll discover 200- to 300-year-old houses known as grenier, raccard, and mayen. Some of these historic homes have been preserved, while others are slowly disappearing.
Our retreat will be held in a remarkable location that has saved six of these ancient structures, transforming them into a tiny village. This exceptional place is old and charming on the outside, yet creative and boundless on the inside. It offers complete privacy, stunning mountain views right from your bed, and private Nordic hot tubs. Full details will be provided once you register.
End the year well: this retreat offers you the chance to slow down and relearn how to take care of yourself in an authentic and revitalizing environment.
Where the winter magic will happen
Winter fairytale in the Valais Region
Immerse yourself in the authentic, fairy-tale-like landscapes of the Valais region. This area breathes simplicity, coziness, and la douceur pour le Coeur (open-hearted softness). Over the course of three days, we will take our time exploring the hidden corners of the valley by snowshoe, hiking, moving slowly and mindfully, with no rush, allowing us to fully appreciate the landscape, cultural life, and the deep connection between humans and nature.
Mornings and afternoons will be dedicated to yoga and meditation, helping us integrate our experiences in the mountains.
In the evenings, we’ll unwind in a private hot tub, a perfect way to relax after a day of adventure.
Our private chef, Donata, will spoil us with creative dishes that nourish both body and soul.

Meet The Team
Ruta
Meet Ruta - the mastermind behind the retreat and the creator of Be Outside Coaching.
Ruta did her first hike back in 2013- she then realized that the real life is not happening in the indoor- office environment but rather outside: connection with Nature is at her heart.
She spends most of her time outside- climbing, hiking, wild camping, walking in the forests, parks and other natural places. Retreat participants often say that Ruta's passion for Nature is contagious.
Ruta is a professional mountain leader ( Association of Mountain Guides in Switzerland), neuro-coach (Neuroleadership Institute, London), and forest therapy guide (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, USA).
Kotryna
Kotryna, a certified yoga and meditation teacher, encourages and invites you to listen to yourself & follow your heart's guidance, cultivate self love and be your own best version on the yoga mat and off the mat.
To explore your inner landscape Kotryna uses three yoga modalities: asana, breath (pranayama) and meditation. Kotryna loves teaching HATHA yoga with slow vinyasa style. She shows different variations and movements to make sure her classes are beginner friendly and also interesting for 'seasoned' practitioners.
Kotryna has a business background and came to yoga from the Swiss corporate world. Her analytic mindset threads nicely with yoga and meditation practices, therefore she loves sharing with her students WHY we do what we do on the mat and chooses science-based yoga approaches.
Kotryna lives in Villeneuve, a commune extending Swiss Montreux riviera, with her little family: lovely husband and two amazing kids.
Donata
A soulful retreat chef Donata creates food with love and passion, drawing inspiration from her deep connection with nature and its natural ingredients. A nature lover at heart, she incorporates the beauty of the outdoors into her cooking, using fresh, natural products to craft meals that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. Her food delights multiple senses, making every meal an experience.
During the retreat, you will enjoy healthy, natural meals prepared by Donata. Let your body be energized by seasonal and local goodness, while finding joy in eating a vibrant array of colors on your plate. Her food will help you feel more grounded and comfortable in your own skin.
Previous retreat participants have been left speechless after savoring Donata's creations.
