5 Weeks Virtual Retreat

Because You Deserve a Month of Self-Love & Care

Does life feel like a constant rush between work, family, and responsibilities? Constantly checking off the items from your to-do list? Having difficulties to slow down and unwind in the evening after your busy days? Do you give to everyone else but rarely find time to nourish yourself? Imagine dedicating one month to YOU—where self-care isn't just a fleeting thought but a true practice of love and restoration.

This 5-weeks virtual self-love retreat is designed to help busy women like you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and (re)build some self-care habits that can last far beyond this retreat. Each week, we’ll gather for one gentle, nourishing evening class before sleep (in your pajamas if you like!)—a perfect way to wind down before bed. Plus, you’ll get carefully curated self-care practices to integrate into your daily life each week.

Join us in creating your own Self-Love Sanctuary, a space where rest, relaxation, and self-compassion become a priority.

P.S. Possible (and desired) side effect - a good night sleep after our classes. People constantly tell me that my evening classes are their perfect preparation for the good night.

2. Do I need any prior yoga or meditation experience?

Not at all! This retreat is designed for "all levels", from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Every practice is gentle and adaptable.

3. What equipment do I need?

All you need is a yoga mat, a cozy space, a blanket or a towel, pillow(s), a scarf, a belt or a bathrobe cord and comfortable clothes. Yet, if you have a bolster, blocks, eye mask and strap those can add extra comfort, but they’re not required, they can be all repleaced with items listed above.

4. How long are the live classes?

Each live session will last around 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to unwind without taking up too much of your evening. I planned to do them on Wednesdays 20:45-21:45 allowing you to sleep at 22:00 and get a good night's rest.

5. I have a busy schedule—how much time will I need each week?

The live class is once a week for about one hour, and you’ll have additional optional 3 self-care practices that can be as short as 20 minutes a day. So that makes the total of 2 hours per week. The retreat is designed to fit into your life, not overwhelm it.

6. Can I gift this retreat to a friend or family member?

Absolutely! A self-care retreat makes a wonderful gift. Just sign them up using their email, create and communicate a password for them, and they’ll receive all the details.

The retreat will begin on the 26th Feb, Wednesday, the first live class will start at 20:45 CET (Swiss time). You will receive a reminder with a zoom link.

8. How long will I have access to the classes and practices?

Retreat is a temporary endeavour in its nature. You will have access to all the materials throught the retreat and one additional month till the 30th April 2025 in case you want to rewatch and practice some things again to integrate them.

9. What is the yoga style that you teach?

I love sharing slow vinyasa (chained movements with breath), yin yoga and restorative yoga. The evening live classes that I will share will be 'my unique blend and fusion' of the three above.

10. What if I have more questions?

I’d love to help! You can reach out to me at kotryna.samary@samauyoga.ch and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

Little Intro

My name is Kotryna and I am the creator of the Self-Love Sanctuary: 5 weeks virtual yoga retreat.

I come with 10+ years corporate experience in marketing analytics and I am a mum of two small lovely kids, so I know a thing or two about lack of time for self-care.

Rest, slowing down, stillness... did not come easy to me. I had to learn it. And practice it.

After the birst of my 2nd child I battled insomnia and experienced all kind of things do to lack of sleep. So went down the rabbit hall to find what could improve my rest and sleep. It was a journey.

In 2023 I becane a yoga teacher. Fast forward 2 years - 2 weeks ago I came back from a wonderful yoga and nature retreat and decided to re-create a virtual mini retreat experience. My students say that they find my evening classes particularly soothing and helping them to sleep their best nights. So I decided to build my virtual retreat around that: rest, nurturing, loving, calm practices that will prep you for the wonderful night's rest. Because when we are rested and charged - we can live our best lives.

More about Kotryna

Why I created this Self-Love and Self-Care Retreat?

I think that today's modern world is full of options, actions, activities and all sort of 'doings'. And from my personal and my students experience I know that 'not doing something productive' and simply resting and 'being' doesn't come easy these days. I personally was never taught how to rest, take my time and the importance of it. In my long education no one ever taught me the importance and power of rest. Only in the recent years I learned to ask myself different questions. Instead of asking myself: Have I worked hard enough to deserve rest?, I've started asking, 'Have I rested enough to do my most loving and meaningful work?' (Nicola Jane Hobbs). So this self-love and self-care retreat is my personal invitation to you: relax, slow down, invite stillness, surrender. We'll do it together. Embrace Radiant Rest.
