Little Intro...
My name is Kotryna and I am the creator of the 24 Day Self-Care Advent Calendar.
I come with 10+ years corporate experience in marketing analytics and I am a mum of two small lovely kids, so I know a thing or two about lack of time for self-care.
I re-discovered yoga a bit more than 2 years ago (while I practiced on and off for the last 20 years) and it has truly transformed my life. I decided to become a yoga teacher and since then I never stopped... I dove into the science of yoga and meditation, discovered meditation for everyday life, yin yoga, restorative yoga, and so on and so forth... :)
I founded Sama U yoga studio, started organising workshops and team buildings, co-created and led yoga retreats, launched an online course and it has been an incredible ride.
Fast forward 2 years - I woke up one morning with the idea to create this 24 Day Self-Care Advent Calendar and share what I learned equipping you with short, effective practices and tools that changed my life for the better.

Ruta will join the 24 Day Self-Care Calendar initiative and share some essential nutritional advices for this holiday season.
Ruta's mission as Functional Nutrition Coach is to promote holistic nutrition and empower individuals to take control of their health through identifying the root causes of imbalances and applying personalized, holistic nutrition strategies to address them.
She's accompanying people at her private practice in Châtel-St-Denis (Switzerland, VD), online, or at a location of their choice.
Ruta Mikulenaite
Ruta will join the 24 Day Self-Care Calendar initiative and share some insights into the powers of nature.
Ruta's passion is inspiring others to reach their full potential and achieve life goals through coaching and connection to the nature.
Ruta is qualified brain based coach (Neuroleadership Institute) and mountain leader ( Association of Mountain Guides, Switzerland).
She is a founder of Be Outside Coaching and leads coaching and retreat initiatives in Swizerland and Lithuania.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any special equipment?
No, just comfortable clothes and a quiet space. A yoga mat can be helpful for movement classes, but isn’t required, if you are comfortable to do yoga without it.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! All practices are designed to be accessible, even if you’re brand new to self-care practices.
Will I have access to the course after December?
Yes, you’ll have access to all content for 3 months (till 31.03.2025). Start your journey in December, and keep coming back in 2025 to reinforce your new habits.
Why the short bite-sized format?
Quick, 15-20 minute videos offer a perfect daily dose of inspiration and focus. Short practices are a lot more realistic for many of us in our life and will have great benefits. Micro learnings have higher chances to stick and be sustained.
